How did SAHA come to be?
Alenka, our founder, went through a series of health issues. After not finding answers in conventional medicine she tried a slew of different modalities. She realized that there are so many incredible healers and providers who do what they do to help people, and would prefer to spend more time on that than the marketing, social media, website building etc.
She also realized that for people who are looking for answers, if they didn’t know someone who knows someone who can help then often they wouldn’t be able to make progress in their care.
This became a problem she was not okay not solving and SAHA was born.
What is SAHA?
SAHA is a platform that uses matchmaking to connects those who have not found answers in conventional medicine to holistic health providers based on shared values and current needs.
When will SAHA be available?
We will be launching our matchmaking prototype in the fall of 2024 and our full launch is aiming to be live Q2 2025.
Where will SAHA be available?
SAHA will be available worldwide. Some providers are only licensed in certain countries/states/provinces and will only be matched with clients based on their location.
What makes SAHA different from seeing my primary care physician?
SAHA is designed to offer options for those who have exhausted all their possibilities with conventional medicine. If you are finding answers with the care you currently have access to, that’s wonderful news—SAHA was not built for you.
What makes SAHA different from a Google search or other directories?
Both of these solutions work well if you know what you are looking for. SAHA is designed to help give people options when they don’t know where to start.

We are modality agnostic, which means we are open to all types of care. Each one of us is incredibly unique, and our goal is to provide options tailored to each individual.

Does SAHA accept insurance?
Not at the moment. The way insurance is currently structured has its limitations, as most of us have experienced, this generally does not allow for enough time to dive into what is going on.
We believe in providers being compensated in a way that allows them to provide the highest quality of care.
For our full launch (targeting 2025) a portion of our proceeds from day 1 will go toward the SAHA fund which will be available to those who otherwise would not be able to afford services.
What types of conditions do you cover?
We are starting with one focus and expanding from there, burnout in relation to chronic pain, chronic stress and chronic fatigue.
We will expand out from burnout based how we can make the most impact.
How are you being funded?
Currently, we are bootstrapping. This means that Alenka, our founder, believes so strongly in bringing this to life that she is currently paying for this to come to life out of her pocket. Every decision is made with the intention of serving and keeping the integrity of the vision, including who she decides to work with and what those agreements will look like. This is to ensure that the integrity and quality of what we’re building continues to be the priority.
We are all unique, if one size fits most doesn’t work for our jeans, the same can be said for our health. For some people the current systems work for them. The rest of us have a really hard time finding the right provider that can help us, that is what our matchmaking system is aiming to solve.
Our goal is to give back agency to those who feel like they have lost control of their health.
We don’t require you to know what you are looking for. You just answer a couple of questions and we give you options.
We match you to the specific provider and service that will help you out the most.
We use our healing framework and match providers who are experts in certain steps to each person based on where you are at today.

Prototype
This is the first validation of our matchmaking systems. Those looking for care will be able to fill out a short survey and be connected to a tailored list of recommended services and providers unique to their needs.
Providers will provide ways for clients to book them. For example: websites, booking links or email addresses. This will be listed on the results screen allowing people to book directly with the providers.
It’s completely free! Your participation helps us tune and test the matchmaking system.
We’re estimating about 4-6 months maybe longer, and we will keep you up to date with any updates and changes.
Fill out the application form and we’ll let you know when the prototype goes live. By signing up to be listed on the prototype you will have the option to be listed on the full launch when we go live.
Full Launch
It doesn’t cost anything to be listed. We don’t believe in charging people for the possibility of clients, its like paying for a parking space and not owning a car.
Providers who have signed up for the prototype will be first in line to be able to sign up for the full launch. Optional of course.
If a providers opts to be included, when we move to launch the full platform:
- The provider will go through a vetting process
- Those accepted will go through our onboarding process. This includes:
- Working with our team 1:1 to build out the individual provider page
- This will include working on the messaging, helping choose the right photos and the option to create a short video for their profile page
We get paid when the providers get paid. We are estimating this at about 18% currently and hoping to lower it.
This covers the cost of all marketing, awareness, the cost of the platform itself (booking, HIPPA compliant video chatting, secure messaging, all the bells and whistles etc.) and the payment processing. From these proceeds we contribute with every transaction towards the SAHA fund, making services available to those who would otherwise not be able to afford them.
We will ask that providers make a few appointments available on the platform a week. For those clients who book via SAHA we ask that you keep them on the platform for the course of their care.
We understand that you still may have clients in other places, and do not ask you to be an exclusive SAHA provider.
